I am now a Believer in chiropractic!!
I was the biggest skeptic!! Seven years ago, I began having sciatic pain down my leg and went to a chiropractor a friend recommended. After two year and countless treatments, I was not any better. When my toes started getting numb, I was frightened and went to see an orthopedic surgeon. I ended up having surgery on my back. As time passed, I continued to have minor flare ups. Five years after my surgery, the pain returned full force.
I had read about Dr. Wellens, and was intrigued that he was a Board Certified Chiropractic Neurologist, so I made an appointment. Then, still being skeptical, I cancelled it. Finally, a month or two later, out of fear of having another surgery, I saw Dr. Wellens for a consultation. I described my pain, he did some simple tests, and completely explained his diagnosis. He was so patient, answering my many questions in language I could understand.
I decided to proceed with treatment, and after 3 visits, my sciatic pain was completely gone! I can now say that I am pain free! I am also happy to say that I am able to work in my garden for the first time in years, and was able to travel all throughout Italy with no back pain or sciatica!
I am now a Believer in chiropractic!!
